Here are lip swatches of MAC lipstick shades that are perfect for fall! All shades except Rebel are matte lipsticks. MAC lipsticks are my favorite lipsticks because they apply so easily and are mostly comfortable on lips. Also, there are so many shades to choose from. Check out my video for review and lip/arm swatches. For shade reference, I'm NC40 in MAC.

Shades Mentioned
  1. Velvet Teddy - Deep-tone beige
  2. Whirl - Dirty Rose
  3. Soar - Deep Mauvish Plum
  4. Stone - Muted greyish taupe brown (discontinued)
  5. Taupe - Muted reddish-taupe brown
  6. Persistence (discontinued)

Fenty Pro Filt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation Review

Check out my video of Fenty Pro Filt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation for demo, wear test and comparison with Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation.

Each foundation retails for $45 CAD ($35 USD) and contains 1.08oz (32 mL) of product. It's available in 50 shades. Click here to check out my shade reference post of the first 40 shades launched.
As for packaging, Hydrating version comes in a tube, whereas the Soft Matte one comes in a glass bottle. I'm glad theres's a pump for each one.
Aside from packaging, what also differs is the formula. Although they're both claimed to be longwearing foundations, they don't have the same coverage or finish.

  • Hydrating
    • Finish: Natural
    • Coverage: Medium
    • Skin Type: Normal to dry skin

  • Soft Matte
    • Finish: Matte
    • Coverage: Medium to Full
    • Skin Type: Normal, Combination, and Oily
Here's a photo with flash with foundation only as face makeup. The Hydrating one doesn't cover as well as Soft Matte foundation.
Here's a photo with flash with full face of makeup.
